Abstract

This study is trying to present the physiological and pathological aspects of these abnormal changes at athlets, because they have no clinical symptoms and also they have a good effort capacity. All these aspects can be use to prevent cardiovascular impairments during physical activity. Material and method. We have studied 6100 subjects that presented abnormal repolarization and for that, we estimated the types of abnormal repolarization, place, reccurance, kind of effort, sports performance. We made EKG in rest and effort, echocardiography and for 8 subjects we recommended coronary angiography. Results. After we evaluated the results we observed the existence of a high procent of T changes, the most frequent place of these abnormal changes are at the anterior wall of the heart(V1-V6) and the normal aspect after effort was traced at youngsters and untrained subjects

Conclusions. These abnormal changes of repolarization can be :
1.reversible changes with normal effort test;
2. persistent changes with recurrents;
3. persistent changes with left ventricle hypertrophy

Key words:

left ventricle; right ventricle; left ventricle hypertrophy; hypertrophyc cardiomyopathy
