Abstract

It is well known that physical exercise strength adolescents’ health, and an important role in exercise for adolescents is held by the adaptation ability of the adolescents’ body to intense physical effort. The girls are capable of doing an extended array of exercises through which they display a lot of dexterity and interest for physical development in general. In this study we are trying to observe the somatic development indicators and the adaptation of all the important functional parameters in female adolescents was, after intense exercise during a school year. The study was carried out on a group of 66 college girls, with ages between 16 -18 years, which were organized according one program with 2 methods of intense physical exercise, group A was the subject of sprint method, and group B was the subject of the race method. A series of measurements and functional samples were performed, at the beginning and at the end of the training: height, weight, thoracic perimeter (inhalation/exhalation), cardiac frequency, vital capacity, the Ruffier Test. The anthropometric measurements show values within the normal age range and the variations of the physiological factors indicate a good conformation to effort through a significant increase of the vital capacity, the decrease of Ruffier indicator and of the recovery time. The workout capacity increases through sprint and race, both methods being efficient and widely applicable in schools, the choice being that of the teacher and students.
